  • Hi Ramin,

Looks like the similar problem solved in the link given by you up there.

    Dod you try the solution?

You will have to run following command on the server’s command line.

    reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc\Parameters /v FastCGIUtf8ServerVariables /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d REQUEST_URI\0PATH_INFO

Then restart/reset the IIS server, can be done with IISreset command.

    Hope that works.

the problem is here that i used a shared hosting. i don’t have access to the servers’s command line. and when I aksed servers’s admin to do the same as that link they said:

The URL you have provided shows the registry editing which we cannot do on the shared server” and “We searched for the possible solution but do not see a forum article on WordPress with similar issue. The article you provided us earlier does not apply to your server as it is running ?Microsoft Windows Server 2016? with IIS 10. We then tried to search solution based on your current server setup and IIS but do not see it being bugged by any user yet.

Can you please get your web developer involved and see what he suggests? You can even take help of WordPress forums.

If you want any specific server side or database related setting changed, do let us know and we will be happy to make it if permitted in our shared server environment.

If this website works as expected in the Linux environment, you can switch to our Linux package as well.

so what is your Idea? what should do or say to the host admins?
