Hi There. thank you for the plugin. It has helped a lot with our work.
Now we are using it in a wordpress site, that is set up with ACF pro.
We have 3 custom post types called Customers, Claims, and Warranties which have been set up with ACF Pro. We have also set up 3 user roles – Finance (WPcore) Executive and Finance which are custom roles as seen in the image.

All of a sudden The Executive role is denied permission for the post type Claims. We have not changed any permissions. Now when the executive tries to access the wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=claim The error message is “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
This same issue happens for the Manager role as well. But the Manager is not able to access the custom post type Customers as well.

Below are the screen shots of the permissions set up.

We have disabled all plugins except ACFpro and PublishPress Capabilities to find a conflict but the issue continues to persists. Greatly appreciate a resolution to this.

    Hi @zombiee

    Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities.

I checked your screenshot and the capabilities has been correct. The Executive role should be able to access the Claim post type menu. Nothing is wrong with your configuration.

However, can you please try enable edit_post and see if your role now could access Claim post type?

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please reply again here, or you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
