Are the permission requirements too aggressive? It seems like this plugin is designed to fail on systems that correctly lock down the wp code folders (usually via git).
Even if you reset the default wp-content/uploads folder permissions to 770 – the plugin fails to upload a file. It generates the infamous 0K size file – after it comments that it uploaded the file. BOGUS message issue too!!

Admittedly, I am seeing mixed results with this plugin. On some setups, like dev with little security, it works. However, in test and live environments it does not.

    TWO QUESTIONS:
    1. Is it possible to limit the file permissions lookup to just the uploads folder?
    2. Can the file upload folder be set for using the module? Could be set to new file folder that does not have the same permission issues.

Any help on fixing these CRITICAL issues is appreciated.
WARNING!! Until these bugs are fixed, the Windows Azure Storage for WordPress plugin can NOT be used in production sites.
