    Hello,
I have a problem with the plugin.
Some active entries for the user cannot be opened, a message says “you do not have permission”.
Where is the problem? The menu item is visible should be reachable.
When I deactivate the plugin the same user can access those pages, so it cannot be a WP role problem.

    Else,
error with “Hide Users”, users are hidden, but at the top in the users section, the full number of users is always displayed.
Example: If a site has two administrators and one is hidden in the upper part Users page appears:
    All 4 – Administration 2 – Customers 2
    Should write: Administrators 1

    Thank you

    Hi @woodypad,

You can change the permission of the menu item using the advanced mode. Thanks,

    Hi,

You can see in this image here: https://ps.w.org/wp-custom-admin-interface/assets/screenshot-1.jpg?rev=1668296 there’s a button at the top “Advanced functionality” if you click this you can set the permission of individual menu items. Thanks,

    Hi,
    thanks again for your reply.
Yes I have seen the advanced features, but it is not clear to me how I can activate the access for those who already see the menu items.

    Thank you

    Hi woodypad.

Did you find a solution to the problem with access permissions?
I am having the same problem in customizing the WooCommerce menu, when I move an item to the root of the menu, the problem with access permissions happens.

    Hi @rafaellops,

Some plugin menu items require the children menu items to have a particular menu permission for their parents. Often it can be a better approach to rebuild that menu manually for a particular plugin. Thanks,

Thanks for the info @northernbeacheswebsites. And congratulations on the plugin, it’s been very useful.

    Hello @rafaellops
    I still haven’t solved…

    Sorry @northernbeacheswebsites
still it is not clear to me what you told me to change, you have indicated me to enter “Advanced functionality” and from there the authorization of the single menu items.

But as I said, in “Advanced Functionality” I see no way to set up the authorization for the individual menu items.

    Hi @woodypad,

As I said before: Some plugin menu items require the children menu items to have a particular menu permission for their parents. Often it can be a better approach to rebuild that menu manually for a particular plugin.

In advanced mode you can set the permission of individual menu items. Sometimes plugins require particular permissions to work, and some user roles may not have particular permissions. For questions on roles and permissions it’s best to ask a question in the general WordPress forums for support. Our plugin just provides the toolset.
