Permissions administration should be native / core
-
Currently there are some issues with the two most popular role administration plug-ins (Adminize and AAM), as a result there’s no decent permissions manager for the latest release of WordPress.
This is why WordPress should maintain a native role premission system of its own that allows the admin to manage permissions and roles. Whereas this is considered as obvious for CMS’s like Drupal, WordPress seems to be painfully shortcoming on that matter.
It’s quite a delicate matter for certain websites, so I’d strongly advise to consider this.
