  • Hi, You should never have to set permission of a folder to “777”. That is not a very good security practice. This looks like something your host should fix. I don’t know what your host has told you but this file permission issue has more to do with the PHP Handler they are using on your server rather than the fopen and fwrite functionality.

    We will be happy to fix an issue if it is on the plugin side but if the host is doing something wrong then we can’t really fix that in the plugin.
