    Hi there,

I have been experiencing a number of problems when using your plugin in recent weeks. I always use this plugin for all my sites and haven’t had these issues previously.

It seems that the plugin causes permission issues, to the extent that it actually took down a live site I was working on this morning. All you get is a line at the top of the page saying: “A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.”
The only way I could fix it was to remove the plugin from the directory via FTP as I couldn’t access any of my site front or backend.

Is there a conflict with the latest version of WordPress as this seems a very recent occurrence and has happened on two occasions now?

    Many thanks for your help,
    Charlotte

    Hi Guys,

Sorry for the delayed response. I had to remove the plugin in the end as just needed to get the site live.

I do use Sucuri on my sites but have done so in the paste and used this plugin as well with no problems. I will try it out again next week on another install and see what happens.

    thanks,
    Charlotte
