Permission for Subscribers

  • Hi there,

    Would it be possible for users with permission level “subscribers” to access the notification page? Because the notifications will be useful for shop managers and store managers who need not necessarily have admin permissions.

    I tried enabling a custom permission for “subscribers” using the Custom Role Editor plugin but it does not seem to be working.

    Is there any way using which i can enable “Subscribers” to view the notification page?

    Hello,

    I thought about your permission demand for user role “Subscriber”. Since a new user have either Subscriber or Customer role, it would be inappropriate to give those roles to access New Order Notification. But also, some administrators like you may not want to give Shop Manager or Admin roles just for New Order Notification page. So, I added “Author” and “Editor” roles to access page too.

    With the new version of the plugin, “Super Admin, Admin, Editor, Author and Shop Manager” can access the New Order Notification Page. Only “Admin” can access the New Order Notification settings.

    I will also add a settings section for role permissions on next updates.

    Please inform me if you have any other problems after the update. Thanks for reaching me and using the plugin.
