Permission error in W3 Total Cache

    I’m getting error when try to activate CDN..

    /wp-content/w3tc-config/master-admin.php could not be created, please run following command:

    chmod 777 /wp-content/w3tc-config
    chmod 777 /wp-content/cache/tmp

    permissions are set and still getting the same error.(also tested by setting 777 to wp-content)

    any solutions..?
