permission denied error

    I’m having an intermittent error with my site that happens when someone tries to buy a membership on my site, which uses WishList Member and Stripe. I can’t reproduce it myself, but I got the error URL noted here from a screenshot from one of my potential customers. This is the message WishList Member sent back to me about the error: “I checked the webhook link and it has the permission denied error. This issue is more likely a plugin conflict or security plugin that prevents the page to load.” Is there something in Wordfence that I might need to adjust, or do you have any other suggestions?

  • Have you tried switching the firewall to learning mode, so that it can learn “typical transactions” on your site?

    Hi,
    Having a white page with “Permission Denied” doesn’t indicate that Wordfence has blocked this request, most probably this page is generated as a response from your server, I suggest getting in contact with your hosting provider regarding this issue, they should be able to narrow it down for you.
