Permission Denied 403 after active Plugin

  • Hello!
    i am using your plugin called Cimy User Extra Fields. I am using it to add extra fields to Author BIO. Problem i am getting is that when active this plugin and try to update any author bio from backend using my admin account, wordpress does not allow me to update profile of any author and give me this error in following page after click the update user button on user-edit.php page

    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/user-edit.php on this server.
    Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    if i disable plugin and then try to update everything works perfect. Can anyone tell what is wrong here ?

    Ok i did some troubleshooting, and found interested thing, i went to setting for Cimy User Extra Fields and removed the filed i was created of avatar to upload picture, then profile started to update. I again added the field of avatar and at first image uploaded file with profile update. Once image appears on profile and i did retry to edit this profile, it does not allowed me to do that and again permission denied 403 option appears.

    I went to uploads folder and change permission to 777 as well folder Cimy_User_Extra_Fields under wp-content to 777, changed permission of up-content as well but still this permission denied problem coming.

    At first avatar uploaded, when i do try to delete photo or do any change, it not allows, can anyone tell what could be reason ?

    i found something very strange reason behind this problem did see that an image with – within name is causing problem to not upload profile and get stucks with this plugin.

    I removed avatar field and recreated and then uploaded image with name name.jpg profile updated without any problem and re-try to update it worked again.

    When i tried to upload image name-1.jpg it uploaded at first, but not allowed to updated for second time ? and again i did get stuck with plugin where it not allow me to update field again.

    Can anyone suggest whats going on ?

    Problem found!

    maybe it help someone else as well! is all because of this plugin rename file to readfile-1.jpg after avatar upload from profile, and some hosts not allow this name as security issue!
