Permission denied

I installed it, created a template and filled out the fields and hit publish (save) and it leads to a page with nothing but a small white box that says “Permission denied.” (url field says “https://mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php”)
However, thankfully when I go back to the template list, the template is saved and there. But clueless to why it says “Permission Denied” upon submit.
