• Perhaps this exists and I’m just not seeing it, but…

Is there a way to give permission to post to Twitter to different roles? If this is an option in the pro version, I’m willing to pay.

I have several contributors to my newspaper–but I want to review and edit their articles before they’re posted. It’s no big deal to turn on the Twitter Auto Post as part of my edits.

However, I have a couple contributors that I’d like to bump up to “Author” status, so they can post without going through me. I want the Twitter Auto Post to be active for them.

How do I make this happen?

I am able to edit permissions by role if that’s all that’s needed.

  • Filtering based on roles are not supported in WP Twitter Auto Publish.
If your posts status is pending while creating and published only after(your) approval then it will work without any additional settings.
The publishing will depend on the metabox settings of WP Twitter Auto Publish.
If you want certain account based restrictions and privilege then the premium version of WP Twitter Auto Publish supports this feature (with addon- privilege-management).
    Hope this helps.
