    Hello,

Since long Yoast Seo suggest to reprocess Seo data “due to changes in permanent links structure” although they′ve never been changed at all. And it shows a button to “Start optimizing Seo data”.

    Why is this message displayed?

    Regards,

    Julia

We are sorry to hear that you’re having a hard time with our plugin. When we introduced the Indexables tables and migrations, we left all the data to wp_options and wp_postmeta tables intentionally to make sure that we could bring them back if something goes wrong during the migration process.

We understand that you’d like all the existing relevant data to other tables once the SEO data optimization process is completed as those are considered to duplicate that this point.

That said, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Therefore, please do feel free to submit an enhancement request directly to our GitHub plugin development repository so our development can look into this further. We actively track issues through our GitHub plugin development repository.

Thanks for going through all of this with us!

    Hello @mazedulislamkhan,

Plugin developpers know they′re duplicating data in db and they′re deliberately giving wrong info about the update.

This is not just a bug or an enhancement. Developpers should had implemented from the start a way to check this duplication process in order to delete (or not) data in wp_options and wp_postmeta.

    Hi @julia77

With the introduction of the Indexables and the new database tables, as mentioned, we left the data from wp_options and wp_postmeta, just in case there were issues with the migration process. You can learn more about it here – https://developer.yoast.com/blog/the-exciting-new-technology-that-is-indexables/

We really would appreciate your feedback if you could create a GitHub issue and let us know exactly what your concern is and how you would like for it to be addressed, and if our developers can give you a more solid answer for your concern – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/
