[NSFW] Permalinks wont allow Custom

  • I am trying to use Custom structure in Permalinks and when I press save WordPress reverts me to whatever Permalink structure I was using before, whether it be the default setting plain or any other I just get reverted to any other Permalink structure but the custom I am trying to use. I currently am using post name which I believe from what I have read will serve me the same when building static pages, the URL will show the full URL;

    https://www.websitedesigncyprus.agency/website-design/

    not?

    https://www.websitedesigncyprus.agency/p=123, https://www.websitedesigncyprus.agency//archives/123

    etc

    Has anyone had anything like this before? If so please advise.

    Also am I correct in saying that using post name will serve me the same as custom structure, if anyone knows different please explain.
