    1) Translate the permalinks
    2) Add text before the language switcher

    1) Yes, it’s possible, but that feature is part of the paid version. You can read more about it here: https://translatepress.com/docs/addons/seo-pack/ .

    2) Sorry, but I’m not totally sure what do you mean by this.
    For starter, which language switcher? The one in the main menu or the floating one? Also, where exactly do you want to insert it?
    If it’s not too much to ask, I think a visualisation of exactly what you want to archive (like an edited photo) would be really useful.
