• (repost from wordpress.com — oops!)

    All,

I have a customized wordpress installation located here: https://www.nadiasirota.com/wp/

And as you’ll see, if you click a link from the homepage, the permalink url contains “/%” at the end, which is breaking the links. This was not happening when I launched the blog originally, and I’m not sure when the issue appeared.. very odd!

Anyway, in the post editor, the “%” is IN the permalink, after the editable portion, so I can’t remove it from there, It must be added by the system at some point, but I’m very unsure where to look.. ??

I also upgraded to 2.9 to see if that had an affect, but it didn’t change the issue.

Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

  • Look at Admin > Settings > Permalinks

What structure are you using? Copy and paste the structure here if you need to.

Ah hah! Many thanks. Someone had adjusted that to a custom setting and there was a typo. I had not adjusted that setting before, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

if you have issues like with the permalinks again saving forces a refresh under the new (or old sometimes) settings. So on a site I just had an issue with all I did was go to the page and hit the save button so the links would be generated again.
