• Today I woke up and browsing to any page in my WP installation returned a 500 Error.

    My host is NearlyFreeSpeech.net

    This is the error:

    www.tokyo2osaka.com
    https://www.tokyo2osaka.com/about
An error has occurred while handling your request. This error may be
a result of a malfunctioning script or CGI application.

Error 500 Internal Server Error (mod_rewrite: maximum number of
internal redirects reached. Assuming configuration error. Use
'RewriteOptions MaxRedirects' to increase the limit if neccessary.)

The tech at NFSN said this:

The path “/tokyo2osaka/” in your .htaccess file does not exist. If WP generated that file, then something is probably mis-configured in WP. You might need look around in its database for clues if you can’t fix this and log in to WP’s admin area the normal way.

…Though I don’t quite understand what she is saying. Can anyone help me out?
