Permalinks – remove /blog category

if you use multisite you can’t

yes it is a multisite install..

one site is ok, its just the main site has the /blog category that is fixed..

yes that’s done intentionally to prevent conflicts

If you use MultiSite and subfolder sites, you can’t. This is important, folks!

If you use Subdomains for your subsites, there’s no /blog pre-pend.

And it’s not a category, it’s just a slug to prevent conflicts.
