Permalinks question

  • I would like my pages to be listed by their category instead of all the numbers etc..

    e.g. if you click on news it will be like:

    mysite.com/news

    Is there an easy way of doing this?

    I changed the permalinks options to try them out but then the site navigation broke.

  • What did you change the permalinks TO that broke the site nav?

    Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and deleting/renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again.
