permalinks on don't behave as such

Hi all!
I came across a weird issue: my <a> seem disabled. The pointer doesn’t appear and when I click nothing happens.

I wrapped anchor tags on my post images, with an href pointing to the_permalink, in some pages of the site it seems to work just fine, but in my index it just works on the posts retrieved in my last query.
I’ve set up two queries, the first is unresponsive, even though the correct link is embeded on the code (checked with inspect element).
This issue occurs across browsers, with the exception of ie 9.
