• I’m guessing it’s a problem related to mod_rewrite, but somehow pages come up in Safari, FF and Chrome, but come up as ‘Page Not Found’ in IE. No clue what’s going on, trying to see if anyone else has had this problem or found a solution.

The problem seems to be isolated to pages marked PRIVATE. All the other pages work fine across platforms. If anyone is interested in digging deeper into it I can set up a username and password for them. I suspect that it’s a problem in WordPress itself since Private pages seem to have a lot of strange bugs so far that I’ve been using them.

it works for me in both FF and IE.

-try clearing cache in your browser before viewing the updated page. To clear cache in your browser, press clrl+f5 keys simultaneously. Also, try different computers / different browser.

This problem is tested and verified in multiple versions of IE, on multiple workstations. You can’t actually test it because the problem effects PRIVATE pages. I’d have to give out the login to allow for testing, but if anyone is serious about working on the issue I am in the process of setting up an alternate page for public testing.

Did you every figure this out? I’m having this problem suddenly

You’re having this problem specifically with pages marked private? I decided it was a problem in the WordPress core and wrote a custom plugin to do what I wanted to do.

I’m having it actually with the whole site now on my theme, not sure what is triggering it. I’ve had this theme for 8 months and it just started

Did you update WordPress or any plugins? Install any new plugins? Basically can you think of anything that could possibly have changed?

Link me to the site and I’ll look at it and see if I can tell anything.
