Permalinks not working – if post type of post_parent is post for the page

  • I made custom post type as the post_parent of my pages. When i change the permalinks settings to %postname%. Page is not loading and i am getting page not found error with the wordpress theme.

    In wordpress site, I created one custom post type called city.
    I created five cities
    I created pages and set parent as each city.
    Changed the permalinks settings to %postname%
    Now when i open my page using the url https://localhost:8787/bangalore/homepage it is opening and showing the page not found. But this page not found error is insode the activated theme not by the browser.
