Permalinks not updating

I have updated my permalinks to be

/product-catergory/product and this only works when I’m on a single product page but not when I’m on a product category page and I’m not sure how update this.

so e.g. a product page = https://wrightcreations.uk/card-making-kits/a6-red-valentine-card-making-kit-4/

But the category page permalink looks like this

https://wrightcreations.uk/?product-categories=card-making-kits

I want it to look like https://wrightcreations.uk/card-making-kits/

without the ?product-categories= part, does anyone know how I can update this?

I have tried a dozen plugins that claim to update the permalinks but none of them ever do.

My post permalinks are fine, it’s my woocommerce ones that appear to be affected
