    Hi,

use your plugin on all sites I make ??

Before is was linke this: clone a page ‘page-name’ – open draft – permalink is ‘page-name-2’ – enter new page name – permalink automatic updates to ‘new-page-name’.

Updated to 3.2.1 and now I have to change permalink manually… Bad. Very bad. ??

    Please get old function back…

    Regards,
    Hilmar

  • Hi @opaldigital,
can you check if Slug is checked under SettingsDuplicate Post, tab What to copy?

Yes, it was. Did not understand that this implies that the permalink will not be updated when saving with a new name …

I changed the behaviour with the last version as it was inconsistent with WordPress’ standard.
Sorry it lead to this issue, I’m glad to hear it’s fixed now!

    Hello,

I have the same problem but in the French version, I do not see the checkbox “Slug”

Under the “What to copy” tab, I find:
    – Title (ok)
    – Date
    – State
    – ID (ok)
    – Extract (ok)
    – Content (ok)
    – Featured Image (ok)
    – Model (ok)
    – Format (ok)
    – Author
    – Password
    – Attachments (better leave this box blank unless you have special requirements)
    – Children
    – Comments (except pingbacks and trackbacks)
    – Order of the menu (ok)

    thanks

    Hi @mengeco,
it looks like “ID” has been used as the translation for “Slug”, can you try to uncheck that box, save the settings and try again?

    Let me know!

Thanks you very much, it’s Work!

But I do not understand why this option is enabled by default, it is necessary that the URL of the new page is renamed.

Otherwise, thank you very much for this great plugin!
    happy New Year !

You’re right, it’s a good suggestion, I’ll probably fix that in the next version.

Thanks for reporting, happy new year to you too!
