Permalinks keep getting broken – 404 errors

  • This website has the problem that permalinks get broken every one or two days showing 404 errors. I have to resave permalinks everytime, which is very very annoying.

    I have tried cache plugins which seemed to help but only for a while. Then the problem came back again.

    I have Learnpress, Buddypress, and bbPress installed among others. I deactivated and reactivated bbPress and the problem goes away. But I think it is because the permalinks structured are resaved when doing that. I haven′t found a permanent solution….

    Has somebody had this issue who can help me with this?

  • Have u tried checking and fixing of your .htaccess file?
    If you go to the .htaccess file, you’ll see the option of “file permission”. Set it to 644.
    After that, set your permalinks settings again and update it.

    Hopefully your issue will be resolved..
