Permalinks, K2 Rolling Archives, and Slickr Gallery

So I’m running all of the above, specifically Unsleepable V 2.0 which is based off K2. I really like having rolling archives and live search, but they require me to set my permalinks to %postname%. If this is set then everything works.

Except I’d like to have a more tradition structure like /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ especially considering this is what’s preferred by Slickr gallery.

EDIT – I’ve also tried the suggestion of using a category base, this doesn’t help unfortunately.
