Permalinks help please

is there any chance of someone telling me in dummy language please, im not all that familiar with this.

Use a plain text editor to create a file named htaccess with the content that WordPress tells you to place in the file after saving the permalink structure.

Then, use an FTP or SFTP client to upload the file to the same directory as your wp-login.php file.

Once it’s uploaded, change the file’s name to .htaccess (add the dot in front).
