Permalinks go to blank pages in 2.8

Hello everyone!

I upgraded to 2.8 and everything seemed to go fine.

I have my dashboard and all my plugins work fine.

The problem comes when I want to preview my post or if I insert a <more> tag for people to click, then it just goes to a blank page. It seems that my permalinks don’t go to where they should.

I am using the default permalink settings. I have tried changing it to a custom “pretty” permalink and still the same problem persists.

Using the default permalink settings, I understand that there is no .htaccess file? Even when I change to a custom setting, I don’t see the .htaccess file either.

I am using filezilla and have the show hidden files checked. Don’t understand what’s going on.
