Permalinks for language in directory not working

    When the language is set from directory name in permalinks, only the homepage works. All other pages give 404.

    The website is in a multisite configuration. For the subsites, languages in directories work fine. E.g. https://bpact.be/clients/fr/

    Server: nginx (Kinsta)

    Update:

    • I have disabled language in directory setting to make pages in French accessible again.
    • I saw in the changelog from the update of last week: “Fix incorrect rewrite rules leading to error 404 on mutisite #1366” –> apparently this isn’t fixed yet for all configurations
    • After adding a new subsite, the permalinks again didn’t work anymore. I have to go into Settings > Permalinks, then Save and they work again.

    Update: reverted to Polylang 3.4.5, all permalinks work again, with language in directory.

    Issue resolved in latest update.
