Permalinks for categories?

Greetings, is there any way to set permalinks for categories to: “https://www.yourwebsite.com/%category%/” instead of “https://www.yourwebsite.com/category/%category%/”? I know I can change category base (to “topics” for example), but can I not use it at all?
