• Though using accented chars on the post title works ok, using certain characters breaks my permalinks. For example, titling a post “??Bug en WordPress?” (note the first “inverse” question mark, used in spanish) makes the permalink become:

    htpp://…/index.php/archives/2005/05/04/%c2%bfbug-en-wordpress/

That makes the permalink fail showing a “404 Page not found” error. I’m using UTF-8, by the way.

    Any workaround for this?

  • You could change the post-slug to something more friendly …

URIs (and thus URLs) are not really friendly to international characters, due to their specification. IRIs go a large way to solve this problem, but are very far from mainstream.

I’d go with starritt’s solution for now.
