    Hi,

This is a separate issue. Basically, none of the forum links take me anywhere. I get a nothing found message.

I did some research on it so I:

    1) Deleted all caches from the forum maintenance section.
    2) Hard flushed permalinks from the same section.
    3) Updated permalinks in my WordPress permalinks settings.
    4) Checked database settings inside tools. There are no errors.

None of them work. Please guide me through this issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @patrick2997,
Let’s start with wpForo Forum Page and wpForo Boards.

Navigate to Dashboard > Pages, check Forum Pages slug and ID, then Navigate to Dashboard > wpForo > Board, edit the default Board and make sure that the Board Slug and ID are the same as Forum Pages.

    Hi,

Thanks for the responses. You say forum pages but I only have one forum page in the list of pages. If I use that ID in the boards, the permalinks takes me to the same page. Is there supposed to be a dynamic community page, because I don’t have that. I have two forum pages. I’ve tried deleting the other one but it keeps reappearing.

It seems I’ve messed it all up during the installation. Sorry for the bother.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Scratch the above message. It works now. I didn’t know I had to create a separate forum page if I wanted it to be the home page.

You can close the thread but do respond to my previous topic as that issue has still not been solved. The issue with the online members widget.

    @patrick2997,
You must have one Forum page, the default one which is created by wpForo plugin.
If you want to set the forum on the homepage, you should enable Turn WordPress to this forum board option from current Board settings.

    Hi,

Thanks for the help. Basically, I used this approach for the site:

    https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-page/set-forum-on-home-page/

Anyways, it’s working, so I’m happy with it. I still cannot debug the user group selection issue. When I select the user groups (one or all) and update and reload, all the user groups are unselected. I believe this is the reason I can’t see any online members because when I preview the widget after selecting the user groups, I can see a functional preview of the currently active users, but when I reload, “No online members”.
