Permalinks doesn’t work with slash

You can’t use a slash or any other reserved character or non-web-safe character in WordPress page slugs.

I tried those links to be like so

/%category%/%postname%

However the links to the pages don’t seem to change.

links to pages wont change by this. You can use the plugin All in One SEO for for the same.
