Permalinks change and Technorati

During installation (2 years+ ago) of my historical blog I made a mistake configuring permalinks. I used the horrendous /%index.php%/%day%/%postname%/ instead of the better /%category%/%postname%.php using a proper URI of course, so I wish to amend that mistake. (still don’t know if that approach will work on my site w/o .htaccess, but that’s another story)
On Google the impact is minimal thanks to sitemaps as is on MSN as well. Since I prefer not to ask Technorati because of their poor support, my question at this forum is what about all my all links at Technorati index?
