Permalinks causing redirect loop

Hi,

I’m having the same old issue every few days or so. My homepage resolves fine, but my posts don’t resolve and return an infinite loop. I looked through the forums to find a solution and I found that saving the permalinks again solves it. But as I said, the problem returns a few days later. What keeps causing this issue? I must have done this about 5 times now since the last wordpress update.
