I’m trying to create a single FAQ list that is expandable/collapsible without the titles being hyperlinks, but everything I do keeps making the pages be linked to rather than expanded.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi degreesightdc,

The Include Permalink Icon shouldn’t effect how the FAQs display.

If you go to UFAQ Settings-> Basic and scroll down to “FAQ Toggle”, is it set to Yes? If not, set it to Yes and Save.

If it’s already set to yes and you’re still getting this issue:

Can you try temporarily switching to another theme (e.g. “Twenty Seventeen”) + testing the FAQ toggle?

I am doing some tests with your premium version but I am having the same problem. The Icon keeps linking to a single post page. Even though I have set “Include Permalink Icon” to NO. I flushed the permalinks etc

    I am missing something

    Hello mrglennbosch,

Could you try setting the FAQ Toggle option to “Yes” and then check if the FAQ open and close on the same page instead of redirecting you to another page?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion but the FAQ Toggle option is already set to “Yes”

    Regards

    Hi @mrglennbosch,

We have a few other questions:

    1) Could you try temporarily switching to another theme (e.g. Twenty Seventeen..etc) and trying the FAQ toggle?

    2) If there’s no change with #1, could you try deactivating your other plugins, then testing UFAQ, then (if it works) reactivate plugins one by one?
