I am having problems getting my documents to appear. I can create a document and upload them without any problems but when I go to view them it returns a 404 error.

    I am running:
    – WordPress 4.94
    – Plugins: Beaver Bilder, Ninja Forms
    – Theme: Primer
    – Plugin version: 3.1.1

    I have tried:
    – Visiting/refreshing the permalinks page
    – Removing other plugins
    – using default theme
    – Login / out
    – Deactivate plugin – reinstalling
    – Creating/Viewing private posts and pages (both worked)

When I switch the permalinks to the basic structure (?=POSTID) the documents do appear. This also changes all of the links on my site, Once I switch back to my postname structure I get 404 errors when trying to view these pages. They are private but I am logged in.

I also see a trailing slash ( .pdf/ vs .pdf ) in some documents but not others. In my experience this hasn’t made much of a difference due to wordpress permalink rewrites but thought it was worth mentioning. Both versions return 404’s.

This seems very similar to this thread, however, it is not on an MU instance just a regular installation. (and 3.1.2 did not fix it.)

This is a new installation of Document revisions. I did not have it running in the past or upgrade it. I am just trying to install it and getting it up and running. Uploading test documents…etc. I would be surprised if this issue does not happen to more users.

Thank you for your time. This plugin looks much better than the alternatives and I look forward to getting it up and running.
