Permalinks all displaying Home page only [Organize Series plugin?]

    Tonight I updated the Organize Series plugin and updated its setting page. After that my permalinks gave a 404 though all the posts were still correct and shown in the editing/admin panel. I deactivated the plugin. Now all the permalinks show only my home page when clicked – no one can see any of my posts. I completely deleted the plugin but nothing’s changed. Please help!

    I don’t know enough about code to know where to look for the problem. I will add that I was having some issues vith plugins right before the new release (not being able to upgrade, certain plugins breaking aspects of my site – particularly on the home page) and there seems to be lots of issues with 2.9. So, I don’t know if the problem is actually Organize Series – I just know that’s what I was updating.

    Any ideas? Do I need to restore a backup? Go back to 2.8.6? Your advice is most appreciated!

    Well, I went back to my last backup – 2.8.6

    Seemed to fix the primary problem, anyway. Plan on only activating plugin essentials and waiting on some of the ones that seem problematic.

    I experienced the same. I updated something in the Organize Series options and my *Pages* no longer worked. Posts were fine.

    Everything was fine after I deactivated the Organize Series plugin. Sounds like a bug.

    So far I have been unable to reproduce. However, I have filed this as a reported bug and will attempt to replicate when doing updates.

    @danceadvantage – have you tried the latest version of Organize Series 2.1.7 with 2.9.1? Do you have any other plugins that modify permalinks or adjust the rewrite engine?

    @dannoll – working on your problems that have been reported elsewhere.
