Permalinks

  • i’ve added e-commerce to my site and i had it running for a minute and then i decide to delete the example category from my categories page (since i made my own categories) and now i can not see any of my products… here is what i am talking about: https://androgiennei.com/products-page/

    as you can see you see the list of categories and when you click on a category title… the page returns to the home page of my site…

    now, the author of this site did mention something about permalinks and mod_rewrite or something like that… but i have no idea what that all means…

    if there is an easy way like disabling my permalinks to make my pages viewable, how do i go about doing so?

    if there is a hard way, i am willing to learn , but please be gentle and list the steps that i need to take….

    i appreciate any help at all…
