Permalink wont work

  • I tried every thing, yet permalinks wont work for me at all
    I am hosting it on my ubuntu VPS

    before creating a thread i searched for it and came up with the following remedies

      htaccess file
      enabling mod-rewrite module on apache

    but still i can run on permalinks.

    This is an affiliate blog, so my affiliate links are not working because of the plugin i used to cloak them.

    Its a complete mess for me. Considering to move to Druapl now
