• This is my observation regarding the Permalink of the WordPress Site with the Setting(Post Name).

If you got same name with the Page and the Image affect it’s uniqueness. Wodpress treat them as same. Is this really for all WordPress Website?

  • Any two posts/pages/whatever that try to share the same URL will never be able to. You can’t have https://mysite.com/pagelink pointing ot two different locations, and that’s not WordPress, that’s every website out there. One URL, one destination page.

Why do you want to have the same URL’s for different pages anyway? I’m sure there’s a reason for it, but I can’t see how it would ever work.

I just notice that Image URL and Page URL are treated same when you use Post Name Permalink… I think I made confusion on what I’ve said. Sorry for that.
