Permalink Updating

  • Annoying bug – when you start typing a subject line in the editor, the permalink it creates is based on what you type – but the editor doesn’t wait until you’re finish to create the link – sometimes leaving you with partially complete permalinks.

  • It actually does work just like it used to – it only looks broken. Twice yesterday, I published posts with partially complete permalinks to see what it did. It saved the full title, just like it always has.

    Why they made this change, I can’t imagine. Fortunately, it’s only cosmetic.

    this same problem is prevalent in the WordPress.com Blog Stats
