permalink structure

    I’m trying to use this plugin with Uplift Theme from Swift. The permalink structure is as follows:

    /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    (I’m pretty sure this is required for the theme to function properly). However this seems to be breaking my download functionality. How do I structure my downloads to get the URL correctly? I’m not even sure how to get to each individual download. I can get to an individual download post by using the following URL:

    https://host/index.php/download/%downloadid&/

    but then when I click “download” at the bottom of the post, it doesn’t do anything.

  • Hey there,

    We’ve already chatted this over via email but to anyone reading this: This permalink structure does work with the index.php part. This is either incorrect or needed by a host that does not properly support rewrites. Please remove the index.php part from the permalinks structure and all download links will work.
