• Hi I’m having an issue configuring this plugin. I have two pages, one in English and the other in Farsi. I’ve created a linkage between them, so they are aware of their respective languages and that they are the translation of the other. The issue I’m having is when I click on the flags, it appends the language to the URL and it doesn’t seem to get rewritten since I am left with a 404. I am using the postname permalink setting. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I noticed you register lang, but adding that in the custom still doesn’t seem to do it. Also, the permalink registration portion of your code doesn’t seem to fire at all (I jumped under the hood last weekend). Any thoughts?

    Hi!

When you click in a flag, you get 404 page or the page in other language ? can you send us screenshots to help you better ?

Hi, thanks for your response. To add more detail, I’ll use an example:

    • My home page is at /
    • I have a second page named “????” selected as its translation to Farsi
    • When I navigate to the home page and click the flag, it redirects me to “/fa_IR/????/” which seems sound, but I receive a 404.

This is why I’m assuming it’s a permalink issue.

    Screenshots:

If you would like any more detail, if you can provide me with an email I could send you the public url to the page in question for you to test it out yourself.
