    Hey,

I did try to Google this and I did try to search for this, but seeing I do not actually know what I am doing – it was kinda hard to do so.

I have had a blog from the year 2002 which I moved over to WordPress in about 2005 or something but I have decided to finally focus on a certain area of my blog and moving a lot of content.

Moving the posts to a different installation is not the problem nor doing a 503 header, the issue is now due to how I want the permalinks to be done.

What I want is to be able to change my permalinks so it looks like this.

    https://snat.co.uk/tfyp/rants/

tfyp part being the Category base and rants being the category name. This part I am able to do and is already working. The idea is when they click that URL, they will be able to see my articles based in that category.

The part I do not seem to be able to do (or maybe it just ain’t possible) is to be able to have my actual articles to be like this.

    https://snat.co.uk/tfyp/rants/hello-world.html

Does anyone have an idea if that is possible or not.

Many thanks for either answer ??
