• Hi Everyone

I have a page which was deleted. And it is deleted permanently. We now want to use the permalink of that deleted page as the link for a new page.

I have successfully added the permalink to the new page, but it tries to open the old page, which doesn’t exist.

Instead of opening xxx.com/regqatar it opens xxx.com/regqatar1, which was the old page.

For now, I have duplicated the page and added the /regqatar1 permalink, just so it shows the correct content for now

There are no redirects set up directing to new page to the old link.

Any ideas how I can make this work?

    Thanks!
    James

  • The re-direction is being done by the Yoast SEO Premium plugin.

Please check this plugin’s redirection manager and remove the entry.

    Good luck!
