    Hi Mariou,

I noticed that my blog menu page has a slightly odd url:

    https://reclaimdesign.org/eco-blog.html/

I wouldn’t expect there to be a trailing /. As far as I can tell the other pages are all fine. The posts on the blog don’t seem to have adopted the .html extension though. Please can you tell me what I can do to fix that?

    Many thanks.

    Michael.

You might have a plugin or htaccess setting that is forcing URLs to have a trailing slash.

Hi Marios, thank you for getting back to me. The trailing slash only happens on the blog page and shop page, so if it was htaccess would it happen on every url? Apologies for my lack of understanding

Yes I would think you’re right that htaccess would affect everything. But there definitely is a redirect being forced somehow. If you put the below URL into an online redirect checker, you’ll see it redirects to the version with the trailing slash. My plugin doesn’t do redirects so something else is taking over.

Thank you for getting back to me Marios. I appreciate it. You’re right about the trailing being added. I changed the permalink structure in WP settings to be custom and without trailing slash:

    https://reclaimdesign.org/%postname%

That worked on the blog page, but not on the shop page. How weird is that. Anyway, thank you for your help.
