Permalink problem, Please help!

  • After I change the permalink structure, 505 internal error happened. And then i delete the .htaccess file from ftp, the main page www. sabfeng.com works fine, but when I open pages and posts, 404 error happens..

    I wonder anyone familiar with this problem. Any help will be much appreciate… Thank you in advance..

    Because, rather than create your own thread, you took this thread on an almost un-related tangent.

    That’s not true as I had exactly this problem with permalink and the mod_rewrite. And further this thread was fresh.

    DuneBlog, you didn’t start this thread, and this thread has nothing to do with the /%category%/ tag, please open a new thread.

    This is correct. I replyed in this thread because what applies to Permalink using /index.php/ applies also to Categories as I found out. This I wnated to mention here that I needed also to add /index.php/ before a prefered entry.

    My problem is “easily” solved by change to Apple. I am a Mac user now. The problem was Windows Server doesn’t support mod_rewite. So, You know what to do… Right?
