• Hi all, earlier I had the permalink as the default one but all of a sudden I decided to change. I changed from default (which I don’t know what it is)

    to this:

    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

and now everything is broken up :-/ so does anyone know of a way I can find out what the default one is so I can go back?

also, can it be fixed by simply editing the .htacccess file? (because I eventally want the post name to be at the end)

Oh btw, I’m currrently using WP 1.5 Alpha 6

  • Using the wp version you have, if the .htaccess is writable, wp will alter it for you when you change anything.

    What does ‘broken’ mean ?

broken in the sense that if I click on a permalink, It will say ‘not found’ for all of the files (and I didn’t make a new post after changing the permalink style)
